Achleiten: Blind Date Wins the Special
What a great way to end the show in Achleiten: with 74.54 percent, Blind Date won the Grand Prix Special by a clear margin.

"Beate" did a great job and had many highlights such as the flying changes which were rewarded with correspondingly high scores. She really cooperated although she was quite interested in her surroundings. That isn't really surprising for a show at our own facility, but she stayed with me. I am really happy that everything went so well, especially since she hasn't been ridden in a Special again since the EC 2015 in Aachen/GER.
But now it's about time for Blind Date to take a break. She'll compete once more at the CDI in Cappeln/GER the beginning of July but no other shows are planned before departure to Rio/BRA.
Auf Platz zwei in einem stark besetzten Grand Prix Special reihte sich die Siegerin des Grand Prix, Judy Reynolds/IRL mit Vancouver K (71,82 Prozent), ein. Dritter wurde der Finne Henri Roste auf Roble (71,56).
Zum super Ergebnis von heute passt der zweite Platz von Donna Caribica und Wibke Bruns in der Inter I, die sich auch von einem Gewitterschauer nicht aus dem Konzept bringen ließen und sich nach einem teuren Fehler mit 72,28 nur knapp dem Siegerpaar Stephanie Dearing und Anheim's Del Magic FRH (72,54) geschlagen geben mussten.
