Himberg: State Champion Title Number 12 Is Perfect!
After winning the Grand Prix, Blind Date also won the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Austrian State Championships held at Gutenhof in Himberg with 79.12 percent!

That was only our third Freestyle together - and also the best result so far. Blind Date went very, very nicely, didn't make a single mistake and was very concentrated on what I wanted from him in spite of the many spectators and loud background. Even the music transitions worked out perfectly. That explains the great scores in the technical as well as the artistic execution.
Silver went ot Karin Kosak on Florentino (71.17 percent), bronze to Markus Jungwirth on Count Basle (70.70). Fourth place was taken by Katharina "Kizi“ Wünschek on Salieri OLD (70.17).
This was my first State Champion title with Blind Date, a daughter of the Hanoverian Breitling W schooled by Mr. and Ms. Wittig - but my 12th title in a row: 2003 with Agrigento, 2004 to 2007 and 2009 with Falcao OLD, 2008 with Salieri OLD, 2010, 2012 und 2013 with Eichendorff, 2011 with Augustin OLD and now, 2014, with Blind Date.
