We purchased Dobrowsky at the Westphalian Stallion Market in Münster-Handorf/GER.

He's a very strong moving son from the first crop of the Westphalian premium stallion Diatano (by Diamonit I-Brentano II). The bay colt goes back to the Dutch Reina dam line through Trento B-Hurricane-Joost.
His dam, Verb.Pr.St. Atraica, also produced a State Premium mare named La Jamaica (by Laudabilis). The granddam El.St. Jamaica is the dam of a Grand Prix dressage horse named Navarro (by Jazz)/Dominique Mohimont/BEL and a successful medium (M) level dressage horse named Varamaica (by Argentinus).
Other members of this widely branched family are the licensed stallions Sultan, Conveyer, Rivaldi, Henderson, Impuls, Eros, Heraut, Kapriool, Cairo, Fürst Frederik, Jip, Mendel, Charmeur, Tapio and Drakdream as well as the sport horses Arinjo V, Olympic, Odette, Lancelot, Taunus and the four-time European Champion of Young Riders, Reine B/Lotje Schoots/NED.
We named our new purchase after the significant Austrian artist, Josef Dobrowsky (1889-1964).
