Karin Kosak/Lucy's Day

Andrea John was the first to ride. The very experienced 36-year old, who is now riding in her fourth EC, saddled her Esperanto and their harmonious presentation received a total of 68.38 percent. That meant eleventh place in the interim evaluation. Karin Kosak and her chestnut mare Lucy's Day were awarded 68 percent in their first EC.  They had a little misunderstanding at the end on the middle line  - Lucy's Day briefly stopped at X instead of starting right off with the piaffe - which unfortunately cost a lot of points. In the end, their 65.53 percent meant 17th place. With the 133.13 percent points we have at the moment, our team has an outstanding sixth place, following the leading teams from Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

32 couples rode today in the first half of the Grand Prix, which also decides the winning team. Tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. the test will be continued. Then Renate Voglsang will ride her Fabriano and I my Augustin OLD.

I am looking forward to the test - and the waiting is finally over!  Augustin is in a good mood, the footing in the former soccer stadium in Herning is good and the weather is ideal for riding. With the help of my trainer, Wolfram Wittig, I have been working hard for the top even of this season.

Our starting time: 1:49 p.m.....
