Achleiten: Fabulous Comeback for Augustin OLD
Augustin OLD won the Grand Prix qualifier for the Special in Achleiten.

Scores of more than 79 percent given by the judges added up to 76.53 percent in the end. Second and third place went to Tina Konyot/USA with Calecto V and Marcela Krinke Susmelj/SUI with Smeyers Molberg.
It was really really fun. After a show pause of nearly 300 day, he couldn't have made a better comeback. The long pause was very good for Augustin - and we used the time to work in peace and quiet on the fine details - and now it shows, I think. We were careful since it was his first test in a long time and we didn't want to take any risks. But as soon as Augustin and I are more sure of each other, we can seriously go for gold.
I was also pleased that my trainer, Wolfram Wittig, was very satisifed with our performance. Now I have three top horses for the international Grand Prix tour: Augustin OLD, Blind Date and Eichendorff. So I have a pretty good feeling - also in view of the EC this year in Herning/DEN.
