Olympic Diary 32: 13th Place in the Freestyle

Augustin OLD and I received 79.05 percent today in the Freestyle Final of London/GBR which meant 13th place

That is my best result at the Olympic Games so far. Gold with 90.09 percent went to Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro. So the second gold medal went to Great Britain as well.  Adelinde Cornelissen with Parzival (88.19 percent) from the Netherlands placed second. Laura Bechtolsheimer/GBR took bronze with her Mistral Hojris (84.33).

Our freestyle worked out just fine - it was only the third time that we presented our Phil Collins freestyle - and it's really just perfect for Augustin. I really enjoyed our presentation today. The stadium, the many spectators, the music ... even if the three weeks were a long time, I enjoyed it so much I could do it all again tomorrow. This is, of course, thanks to my team and my fans who did so much to support me. I THANK ALL OF YOU FOR HELPING ME SO MUCH!!!!!!!

Wolfram Wittig was also satisfied with our performance because Augustin OLD has completely shed his shyness. Our pirouettes were really super and I am looking forward to working together again.
