Olympic Diary 18: Training at the Break of Day

6:30 a.m. - London - Our first ride in the stadium.

At this early morning hour, the stadium was completely in the shade and it wasn't real warm either but the setting is really unique. And when you imagine that all of the stands are overflowing with people and you have to ride in - it gives me goose bumps already just thinking about it.

Now I really have to concentrate entirely on our first test, the Grand Prix. Augustin OLD really feels good in London and seems to be super motivated. After just walking around yesterday so he could get used to the new surroundings, today we went through some of the movements.

You always need to have a lot of patience here if you want to go through Security. Especially mornings, the lines are endless but the Brits are not leaving anything to chance when it comes to security - and I think that it is also in our interest, even if everything takes so much longer ...
