Achleiten: Augustin OLD Takes First Place in the Special

The CDI*** in Achleiten ended today with Augustin OLD's victory in the Special.

I am simply so happy! Augustin OLD really enjoyed his vacation after the 2012 Olympic Games in London/GBR 2012 and it did him good. He returned to the dressage ring refreshed, in great shape and highly motivated. It felt really good to ride him in a test again. After our new record score in Grand Prix yesterday of 76.53 percent, we even had 75.60 precent today in the Special. That gave me a good feeling and makes me quite optimistic about our next tests at the CHIO in Aachen.

My trainer, Wolfram Wittig, was also very pleased although he didn't miss our little mistake in the canter tour, of course. But all in all it was a very good way for Augustin OLD to start off the season!
